Apostle Joyce Stevens functions as the senior pastor of New Life Worship Center. She is the visionary for several ministries that are extensions of the church. Her passion is building people to advance the Kingdom of God. As a result, the inception of the Latter Rain Conference, designed to destroy the barriers set by denominations, race, and gender for the sole purpose of corporate worship. Through Reaching in Love Ministries Apostle Stevens provides mentorship and spiritual oversight to male and female ministers. Under the direction of Tucson's Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance (IMA), Apostle Stevens created a forum to empower women in ministry by sharing her wisdom and experiences. This citywide ministry known as Women of Distinction meets monthly. With the help of community agencies, New Life Directions, 501(c) 3, was formed to facilitate a program for teen girls and young adult women confronting the issues of abstinence and pregnancy. Apostle Joyce and Deacon Clarence have three children, Mark, Cassandra and Clarence Jr., all of which are active in ministry.
